This term, our students from Years 2 to Year 6 participated in the Cross Country Race. We are very proud of their endurance as they ran the distance and congratulate the Diocesan Cross Country qualifiers! 🏃‍ 🏃‍♀️

This Term students at St. Aidan’s have been using percussion instruments, body percussion, sounds in the environment and tuned instruments like the violin, recorder, guitar, keyboards/piano and Ukulele to present a soundscape about their Forest stories. Kindy have enjoyed using different instruments playing and singing different Australian and Aboriginal children’s songs using their tapping sticks to keep the beat. Stage 2 has been challenged to perform Beethoven’s German Dance using Body Percussion and Stage 3 their presentation of Pachelbel’s Canon in D! Well St. Aidan’s I am so proud of your performances this term in both singing and playing instruments. I cannot wait to see next term when you look forward to great performances in Drama.

KBlue have been settling into their first year of big school like superstars 🌟! They have had a blast making new friends, learning new routines and learning SO many new things… KBlue have loved beginning reading groups, practising their counting and taking part in playing & writing. KBlue cannot wait to see what amazing learning opportunities the rest of the year holds. ☺️⭐👏

Welcome to St Aidan’s Kindergarten Red and what a start to the year we have had! 💥 We blew 🫧 with our buddies and made new friends, we even got to play on the new play equipment. 🛝 We have loved making patterns and learning about numbers in Maths. We are also learning how to read and write- it has been so exciting!!! This term we celebrated Catholic Schools Week, Shrove Tuesday and hosted a baby shower for Mrs Cassar 👶.There have been smiles all round in Kindergarten this term and we can’t wait to see what happens next! 🌟❤️ Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese

💜 Lent is a time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Our mission this term was to raise money for Project Compassion to help the poor in countries like the Phillipines, Samoa and Malawi. As a school we raised $2960 through our Easter Raffle for Project Compassion. With this money Caritas can purchase a water tank for people in Samoa so they can have access to clean water… something we take for granted 💦 Thank you to the St Aidans community for your support to this campaign and generosity. 💜 @catholicschoolsparra
